A PLACE FOR BOTH

Nourishing our children and the women raising them.

Food is at the foundation of this work, alongside the wider conversations that shape how mothers and families live and thrive.

How I can support you

Self-Paced Courses

I'm a big believer in nourishing babies with real, nutrient-dense foods from the very beginning.

My approach draws on traditional ways of feeding children, with an emphasis on animal foods, nourishing fats, healthy digestion and following your baby's development.

My courses help you understand why these things matter and show you how to put them into practice, with recipes, guidance and plans to make feeding your baby a whole lot easier.

Work With Me 1:1

Pregnancy and postpartum can bring plenty of challenges, from nausea and low iron to digestive issues, fatigue and feeling completely depleted. And when your baby is struggling with eczema, it can be difficult to know what to try next.

In my 1:1 consultations, we look at what's going on for you or your baby, what might be contributing to the symptoms you're experiencing, and how nutrition and everyday habits can help support your health.

My goal is to help you better understand what's happening, answer your questions and come up with a practical plan that works for you and your family.

Hi, I’m Mathilde

Your baby's wellbeing is closely linked to your own.

I'm a French mama of three and a holistic nutrition consultant specialising in pregnancy, postpartum and babies.

I started this work helping mothers nourish their babies, but over the years, my work has naturally grown into a much bigger conversation about the mother too.

Because we spend so much time thinking about what our children need. How they should eat, sleep, develop, learn and grow. And somewhere in all of that, it can become very easy to stop asking what we need.

I've also experienced what it's like to put so much energy into doing everything right for our children that we forget to enjoy the life we're working so hard to create.

And that's changed a lot about how I think about nourishment.

Food will always be at the foundation of my work, but we are nourished by so much more than nutrients alone. Our relationships, the way we live, feeling supported, having purpose and making room for the things we love all play a part.

I want to help bring that kind of nourishment back into families.

A Little More About Me
THE MOVEMENT BEHIND THE WORK

Motherhood Unfenced

You are allowed to be all of you.

Motherhood Unfenced is about letting go of the idea that there is one right way to be a good mother, and all the guilt that comes from trying to fit yourself into it.

You can question the mainstream without needing to fit into another box instead. You can change your mind. Want different things. Have needs and desires of your own. Raise your children differently from the people around you. Build a family life around what matters to you.

You can love slow days at home with your children and want a business. Care deeply about what your family eats and sometimes order takeaway. Homeschool and want time away from your kids. Want simplicity and also want more money, more travel, more creativity, more fun.

You don't have to choose a version of yourself and stay there.

I want mothers to trust themselves enough to stop looking to the outside world for permission. To know themselves, love all the different parts of themselves, and make choices for their families from that place.

That, to me, is Motherhood Unfenced.

The Unfenced Mother is where I write about nourishment, raising connected families, questioning what a “good mother” should look like, and making room for all the parts of ourselves along the way.
